GLACIER ADJUSTABLE BASE WARRANTY

In this warranty, "Adjustable Base" refers to the Glacier Adjustable Base (Model: BTX5), sold by Bed-Tech through authorized dealers. The term “adjustable base” applies solely to the bed foundation and does not include the mattress. The terms “Purchaser” and “You” refer to the original consumer purchaser of this Glacier Adjustable Base. This warranty is non-transferable. The “Warranty Commencement Date” is the date You purchased a new, unused Glacier Adjustable Base. Bed-Tech warrants this adjustable base to You in accordance with the terms and reducing coverage periods outlined below. All warranty claims must be submitted to Bed-Tech within the applicable warranty period, as specified below.

1ST YEAR FULL WARRANTY
For the first year from the Warranty Commencement Date, your Glacier Adjustable Base (Model: BTX5) is warranted against defects in workmanship or materials. During this period, Bed-Tech will repair or replace (at no cost to You) any defective part of the adjustable base and will cover all authorized labor costs for the repair or replacement. However, transportation costs related to replacement of the adjustable base are not covered.

15TH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
From the 3rd year to the end of the 15th year from the Warranty Commencement Date, Bed-Tech will cover a 50% prorated portion of any electronic part (e.g., motor, control box, power supply, remote, massage motor, LED light, USB ports) not excluded by this warranty. You will be responsible for all service costs related to receiving and installing the new parts, as well as 50% of the part’s cost. For example, if a motor costs $129, you would be responsible for $64.50. Bed-Tech will cover the cost of shipping parts within the contiguous United States.

3RD YEAR TO 20TH YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
From the 3rd to the 20th year after the Warranty Commencement Date, Bed-Tech will replace any defective steel base parts of the Glacier Adjustable Base (Model: BTX5), provided they are not excluded by this warranty. Bed-Tech will provide the necessary steel parts at no charge, but You are responsible for all labor and transportation costs associated with receiving and installing the parts. If transportation or labor costs are excessive, You may opt for a 50% prorated warranty to receive a new comparable model at 50% of the original purchase price.

ADDITIONAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS (EXCLUSIONS)
This warranty does not cover the following:
(a) Damage caused by You.
(b) Repairs or replacements performed by unauthorized persons.
(c) Mishandling, misuse, or operation inconsistent with the Owner’s Manual.
(d) Damage to mattresses, fabric, cables, or other items not covered by Bed-Tech.
(e) Modifications to the adjustable base without Bed-Tech’s prior written consent.
(f) Unnecessary service calls, such as those for educational purposes or finding a suitable power connection.

Weight restrictions: This warranty will be void if the weight limit of 650 lbs. (including persons, mattresses, and bedding) is exceeded, or if modifications are made.

This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and cannot be transferred. Repairs or replacements made under this warranty do not extend the original Warranty Commencement Date.
